Headless screw, as its name suggests, is a kind of screw without head type. It is mainly used for fastening the connection of the hole position unchanged at countersunk head in the connecting mechanism, and plays the role of locking, simple positioning and limiting.  It is a kind of deformation of ordinary hexagon screw, also known as grub screw or set screw. The common smaller grub screw is used on leather.

One end of the headless screw is socket drive, and the other end is also available in several standards.  Such as DIN916, DIN915 DIN914 DIN913 etc., need to pay with the size of hexagonal wrench to install use, the whole screw can be turned into hole, it looks smooth appearance, more beautiful.  To use grub screw, first drive the screw into the internal threaded hole of the to be fixed, and then press the end of the screw on the surface of the other component (or the corresponding pit in the surface), even though the two components are fixed in relative position.  Flat point, concave point, cone point use scenarios are not the same, the corresponding purpose is not the same.
